Bethany Marsden brings years of experience in grassroots and political organizing for state and national committees to CFFE. Before joining CFFE, Bethany served as Deputy Director of State Party Strategies at the Republican National Committee.
Growing up on a 5th generation family farm, Bethany has seen the impact that government overreach and over regulation have on independent businesses her whole life and gets excited by CFFE’s mission of promoting opportunity and fighting government overreach.
Outside of work, Bethany can most likely be found chasing her two sons, Bo and Michael, around their neighborhood park.
Jack serves as CFFE’s Georgia Deputy State Director. A proud graduate of Auburn University, he was born and raised in Newnan, Georgia, and now resides in Atlanta. Jack is passionate about advancing the principles of limited government, individual liberty, and economic freedom. He began his work with Citizens for Free Enterprise in June 2023 as a Grassroots Engagement Director before stepping into his current role. In his free time, Jack enjoys spending time with friends and watching football.
Patrick is a Grassroots Engagement Director with CFFE serving the Cobb County Area. Before joining CFFE, he received his psychology degree with a minor in data analytics from Kennesaw State University. Growing up in Georgia, Patrick has witnessed the state transform into one of the top places to do business. In his free time, Patrick enjoys attending church, spending time outdoors, and exploring different cities throughout Georgia
Wade is a Grassroots Engagement Director with CFFE serving the northeastern portion of Georgia, including Forsyth, Hall, and Lumpkin counties. Before joining CFFE, Wade was enlisted in the US Navy. Wade grew up in Forsyth County and has enjoyed deepening his relationships in the region while supporting local and veteran owned businesses. In his free time, Wade enjoys lifting weights, spending Saturdays cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and deepening his Christian faith by spending time in fellowship, whether at church or with smaller groups
Barrett is a Grassroots Engagement Director with CFFE serving the Middle Georgia Area. Before joining CFFE, Barrett worked with the Washington State Republican Party. Originally Born from California, Barrett first came to Georgia when he was 10 years old and has stayed in state all the way up to him graduating from Georgia State University in the Early 2010’s. In his free time, Barrett enjoys camping in North Georgia, reading all forms of Science Fiction books, and visiting all the Cigar Bars and Lounges in Georgia trying to find the best one.
Jacob is a Grassroots Engagement Director with CFFE serving in the Western Georgia area. Before joining CFFE Jacob was the Chairman of the University of West Georgia College Republicans and had volunteered with Georgia Victory campaign in the 2022 midterm cycle. Originally from Cherokee County, Jacob first came to Carrollton in 2018 to attend the University of West Georgia. In his free time, Jacob enjoys playing basketball, working out at the gym, watching sports and comedy shows, and traveling around my region trying out delicious BBQ joints and southern restaurants
Sam is a North Fulton native whose career has been shaped by small business and community involvement. He grew up working in his grandfather’s daycare and later gained hands-on experience at a small business in the commercial electrical field after high school. Sam also volunteered on election campaigns before joining CFFE, where he draws on his small business background and community roots to support policies that expand opportunity and strengthen economic freedom.
Olivia is a Mississippi native with a strong background in public affairs, policy advocacy, and communications. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Business and has since built her career working at the intersection of business strategy and public policy. After moving to Georgia in 2023, Olivia draws on both her professional expertise and community roots to advance the mission of preserving opportunity and economic freedom.
CP serves as the Grassroots Engagement Director for Northwest Georgia. CP lives in Woodstock and attends Grace Point Church in Canton, located in Cherokee County. He learned the importance of free enterprise while growing up, watching his parents run and operate their own small business. CP’s faith and commitment to community led him to join Citizens for Free Enterprise at its founding. Since then, he has been privileged to work alongside dedicated colleagues who share a passion for advancing the American Dream.
Mark is a Grassroots Engagement Director with Citizens for Free Enterprise, serving Southwest Georgia. Before joining CFFE, Mark worked for Senator Kelly Loeffler’s Citizens for a Greater Georgia and for Jeremy Hunt’s campaign for GA-2. Originally from Americus, Mark looks forward to continuing to serve Southwest Georgia’s independent business community. In his free time, Mark enjoys attending sporting events throughout Georgia and maintains the unique role of dawning a mascot costume for a variety of organizations and sports teams.
